Overview
Roamline creates animated travel stories from photos you choose to make available to the app. Roamline does not require an account and does not operate a server that receives your photo library or travel history.
Information used by the app
Roamline reads the capture date, embedded location, favorite status, media type, and a small number of photo previews from authorized items in your Photos library. This information is used to infer visits, suggest home and work patterns, display maps, and create travel videos.
Storage and processing
Travel data and resolved place-name caches are stored in the app’s protected container on your device. You can remove this data by deleting the app.
Roamline uses Apple Maps and Apple location-name services to display maps and turn coordinates into city and country names. Those Apple services may process map and coordinate requests under Apple’s privacy policy.
Travel videos are created on your device. They leave the app only when you choose a destination through the iOS share sheet.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Roamline contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDK and does not track you across apps or websites.
Photo access choices
You may grant access to all photos or selected photos. You can change or revoke access at any time in iOS Settings. Some features may be incomplete when only selected photos are available.
Children
Roamline is not directed specifically to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
This policy may be updated when Roamline’s features or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when that happens.
